Top Seven All-Inclusive Family Destinations your Family can Visit this Summer

The summer is fast approaching! It seems that you have inadvertently set the bar and your family’s expectations for a vacation destination really high this year. Last year’s vacation was great but it’s time to do better. All-inclusive destinations simply make more sense when you have children and a large family. They will have the pleasure of eating as much or as little as they want plus there will be a variety of options for the entire family to choose from at the 24-hour buffets. All-inclusive hotels make it easy for the entire family to have a relaxing stress-free vacation worth bragging about.

All-inclusive hotels are also great because they provide entertainment that will appeal to each member of the family. The kids can roam the swimming pools, beaches, and water slides, while the parents can relax at the spa or enjoy romantic dinners at the upscale restaurants. Some of these hotels even take it a step further and provide group or individualized nanny services. That way the adults can really enjoy their vacation just as much or even more than the kids. If you are convinced that all inclusive hotels are a great idea, here are the top seven destinations that I would recommend.

1.Sandos Caracol Eco Resort – Mexico

The Sandos Carocol Eco Resort is located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This area is home to some of the most exquisite beaches in Mexico and the hotel is fabulous. In addition to the main pool area and fountains, the hotel also boasts a whopping 17 waterslides. Can you think of a better way to keep your kids active for a few days? The hotel offers various supervised club activities for children of all ages. The Xcalacoco Experience is also a nice historical experience that the entire family can enjoy together. Rates for this hotel usually start at about $110 per person, per night but keep an eye out for special promotions throughout the year.

2.YMCA – Colorado

The YMCA in Colorado in the Rockies area is an all-inclusive resort that is ideal for your budget-friendly resort plans. Rates start from as low as $59 per person per night. Thankfully, although this destination is reasonably priced, there is still lots for your family to do and enjoy if you all are the fans of the great outdoors. Activities include dog sledding, hiking, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, arts and crafts and so much more.

3.Curtain Bluff Resort – Antigua

The best part about visiting this resort is that children under two years old stay free and the rate is only $85 for children under 5 years old! This can result in significant savings for their hard-working parents. This five-star resort is not short on exciting activities. The entire family can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and a host of other water activities. The food served at this resort is also top notch. Instead of the usual buffet, they offer plated meal service three times per day. Plus, tea time sandwiches and cookies and an exotic cocktail hour.

4.Franklyn D. Resort & Spa – Jamaica

The Franklyn D. Resort and Spa is located in Runaway Bay on the beautiful island of Jamaica. It goes without saying that the beaches here will be unimaginable and your kids are sure to love it. This relatively smaller hotel popped up on the radar when it started offering its world-class nanny service to keep the children of their guests occupied while the adults enjoyed their much needed alone time. The hotel has all the usual amenities like a 24-hour food service, buffet style meals throughout the day, a five-star spa, a humungous water slide and plenty of activities to keep the whole family occupied. Book early rates start at 300 to 400 during peak season.

5.Beaches Resort – Turks & Caicos

Turks and Caicos is another Caribbean island that is famous for its beautiful beaches and family hotels. Chief among them is the Beaches Resort. It is home to the largest water slide on the entire island, as well as the six enticing swimming pools and Water Park. The suites and villas are rather spacious when compared to other hotels. It is also pretty exciting that there are over 19 different restaurants in the compound. Why not make it a challenge to enjoy a different cuisine for each meal?

6.IBEROSTAR Bavaro Suites – Dominican Republic

The IBEROSTAR brand has become synonymous with world-class hotels all around the world. the Bavaro Suites which are located in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic is certainly living up to the name. This all-inclusive family resort is exceptionally beautiful and offers activities for the whole family. The entire family will have access to the usual amenities which include a number of pools and a variety of buffet and plated meals. One very cool feature not offered at other resorts is the fact that guests can easily gain access to and make use of the amenities of other IBEROSTAR Resorts which are nearby. It is like staying at several different hotels in one trip.

7.Wyndham Reef Resort – Cayman Islands

The Wyndam Reef Resort is located in the Grand Cayman’s East End area. This location offers the best of both worlds since guests have access to the 1600 feet of pristine beaches without having to contend with the crowd that usually gathers in the vicinity of the more popular Seven Mile Beach area. The resort offers all the expected ways to enjoy the white sand beaches as well the swimming pools. The food is exceptional, the staff is friendly and the views are really unlike anything you’ve seen before. The best views are from the balconies so try hard to work your way up to one of the rooms with a view.

No matter where your family ends up this summer, take all the usual precautions like taking along sunscreen and all the required medication for each member of the family. As we get closer to the summer period, prices are going to increase. It is always best to book your vacation long in advance. Most experts will recommend booking at least four to five clear weeks ahead. A vacation is a huge investment but there is no shame in not having to spend too much. Be sure to look out for sales and deals which are also pretty popular this time of year. Whatever you do, keep each member of the family in mind and make your selection accordingly.
